These days, beggars and mendicants have become abundant. There are those who truly are needy and there are some who beg because they literally have nothing on their pockets and anyone to rely on. But, there are also those who take advantage of their situation, make themselves look pitiful - to solicit money from good-hearted people who are human enough to give coins or a bit of their extra bills for people who they perceive needs help

But, have you ever wondered how much these beggars earn from taking money from these kind people? A lot of us wouldn't think it's enough for them to get by, daily. In fact, it would get any of us thinking - why would you even take time to go on the streets to beg money? Well, this story will blow you away.

Let me take you to the streets of Beijing and amidst the busy road, you'll find this beggar who lives just by begging but he's not complaining - Why? You'll be astounded!

The truth is! This guy earns enough for him to get buy! He actually gets around $1700 in a month just by waiting for people to give him money on the street.

Because of this, he was able to raise his kids well - he was even able to provide for their college education!

Now, he was also able to build for them, a two-story house!

The good thing about it is that he saves his money very well. He even gets help from people from the post office to count his monthly earnings! Because of their kindness, he always give them 100 Yuan tip each as a sign of thankfulness.

Isn't this amazing? How he handles his money well and how successful he is - he was able to build something out of a crappy situation. This All-Filipino amphibious tricycle can transport in land and water! Amazing!

They say necessity is the mother of all inventions and true enough, when Atoy Llave became frustrated with the flooding in his country, he thought he had to suit up and get full scientist or engineer mode on! Now, that idea and hard work brought him and his team, H20 Technologies, to a decision to design H20 Salamander, an amphibious tricycle that can transport people from one location to another, whether by land or water.

Llave is a popular Filipino customization businessman, apart from being a car hobbyist. To help people, especially during flooding situations, he found a way to establish an amphibious trike - somewhat a thank you for the success of his business in the country. Quoting Llave himself, “I’ve already achieved so much in the car business. Now, I want to leave behind a legacy. I want to produce something that will help people.”

The primary motivation to build the Salamander may have been the flooding in the country but Filipino Atoy Llave also want to make a point - a statement to “show the world that the Filipino can”. And by doing so, he wants to inspire Filipino to think about what their contribution be to make things better for the world. He wants to change teh colonial mentality that Filipinos have - he wants to assert that it shouldn't always be like this“it’s just a Philippine made, there’s one better abroad”.

But like any invention, theirs face a similar story. They lack fund source, especially from the government. While this is one spectacular innovation, any brilliant creator from the past and the present encounter financial woes like this. With a very plausible design, Atoy has big hope that these working prototypes are enough for him to get a sponsor or an investor to try and revolutionize the country's transportation and disaster coordination methods - and hopefully the world's!

Here are some features of the Salamander; it has one electric and one internal-combustion powerplant engines.

It can carry maximum of six people in land, and four in water.

It isn't that energy-efficient but a 5kW electric engine or a 250cc gasoline motor could very well power it up!

Isn't it sad that this inventor is looking for a private company to finance his study? What if the government provide financial aids to these inventors - maybe they've discovered a whole lot in a small span of time. Isn't this amphibious trike cool? Share us your comments below!

Is this real-life T-Rex right here? Poor dinosaur trailer-tied outrages netizens!

Scientists and paleontologists have long wondered whether dinosaurs could still exist at this age. But when you see a photo like this, you won't just be amazed, you'll be mad!

The photo below shows a T-rex being held in captivity, treated by handlers poorly as it was tied in a trailer with its mouth shut being transported to somewhere we don't know.

Like the Jurassic Park stars, this poor creature's mouth was clipped by large ropes with only thick cloth in between the rope and the mouth cutting its skin. The inhumane treatment of the T-Rex sends shivers and cringes from the netizens.

Here's Jonathan Chase's post regarding the said photo:

• “This is an outrage. This beautiful, endangered Tyrannosaurus Rex was bound to a trailer, unable to move for 30hrs. This is animal cruelty, at its worst. The perpetrators of this horrible act should be fined, and their rights to own exotic and domestic animals should be stripped from them.
  Please help me raise awareness about this heinous injustice. Dinosaurs are animals too, and they deserve our love and care. How would you feel if you were bound to the back of a truck for 30hrs?
  Share this photo and help bring a stop to cruelty towards our beloved Jurassic friends.”

While it's apparently a joke, imagine if a dinosaur got caught and tied up in a trailer for thirty hours - it's really going to be a wild ride getting stuck at this position for long! Such torture can only handled by the toughies.

Many netizens, especially fans of dinosaurs and the Jurassic Park, believed what Jonathan posted and didn't really accept the thought of maltreating animals well. They didn't know it was a fake photo anyway.
Good thing there are still those who came into their senses, pointing out that dinosaurs don't exist anymore. But here are some of the witty statements of some people who were able to catch the drift:

• There (sic) doing a show on the autopsy of one… it is possible that this is real. We can clone animals from DNA… yet you think a dino is impossible. The really upsetting part is if it is real (and a video instead of pics would have been better) who do you think paid for it and how much you think it cost? – James Campbell

At first, you'll think it's cool but wait when you find out who the boy's making friends with!

Scientists have long been studying about the how people, as much as animals, need warmth. That is also the reason why our social skills is something that would differ so much from any other creature. We have that instinct and intuition, along with our cognitive skills to separate us from the rest of the world's living things. 

Presumably, that is also the reason why we love having pets to cuddle and play with - and that also explains how easily we can connect to these animals. Take for example this young boy with an unlikely friendship with an extremely dangerous creature. Read on!

Cats, hamsters, guinea pigs and dogs are the usual pets we see our kids playing with. But that's an exception for this young kid, who loves to bond with a stingray! And this enormous stingray doesn't threaten him a bit.

This kid doesn't even bother thinking what will happen if it stings him. Stingrays possess heavy  barbs with poisonous venom right at their tails and whenever they feel threatened, they tend to use it. As a matter of fact, Australian TV star and nature enthusiast Steve Irwin got killed by one. But it seems unlikely in this case, as this young kid, tends to him with proper care and respect. This stingray's pretty safe! Well, that's fortunate for this kid right here.

Rich man insulted this coconut vendor - What he said made him speechless!

Making money is the primary focus of a lot of people who want to become independent from debts and loans. If you are a finance advocate, you wouldn't want yourself to get into the pit of people who often complain about poverty. You would instead invest in yourself, take education as a means to propel yourself to greater heights and finally, educate more people so they won't have to suffer cruel faith of poverty.

These days, the growing population became an instrumental tool making it a tough competition for people to go up the ladder. But in the end, whose fault is this? Don't you think there are poor, smart people - who just got taken advantage of by powerful, rich men in the country? What if these poor people are in the bottom of the pit because more and more become greedy of power and have become selfish - not thinking about other citizens of their country?

Come to think of it, rich people tend to misuse money - they tend to spend thousands for gadgets and appliance without bargaining but for fruits and vegetable, that took time to grow and are products of hard labor - they'll easily beg off for a bargain?

The poor community, which involves those who vend their products along the street, works hard under the sun, so that you'll have food to eat, clothes to wear - they can't afford buying good clothes and good food even, as they have to budget the money they earned for a day for their sustenance. 

The video below presents a rich man trying to bargain coconuts which the poor man initially sells for 30 rupees. The rich man wanted to buy it only for 15 rupees. The fruit vendor then told him, he couldn't trade it for 15 rupees which frustrated the rich man. What the rich man did will truly make your nerves pop. 

He went furious to the point of insulting the vendor. He even resorted to calling the poor vendor a thief!

The rich man returned after a few moments, with soda can. At that instant, the poor vendor called him and asked him for how much did he buy that cola. The rich man turned and told him, 35 rupees. When the poor man asked him how much he bargained for the soda, the rich man responded that there's no need to bargain as it was branded.

And the poor man hit him back with a thunderous, smart, witty reply: "From the rich you didn't even bargain for One rupee, and from us poor, you bargained for 15 sir." 

The rich man was dumbfounded. He knew that the poor man made sense.

The Boholano ended up choosing Sarah Geronimo as his coach. The Voice Philippines Kids kicked off last Saturday and this adorable kid's really got a shot at winning! Don't you think?

When his parents told him they didn't like him, his adoptive sister came to the rescue! Watch this adorable siblings, they will brighten your day!

Sibling rivalry is normal for everyone. But, this brother-sister love surely isn't one that's going to burn down the woods ever. As young as they are, it is instilled to them that they love each other. True enough, this was displayed when their parents fooled around with them.

In this video, the parents told the little girl that they don't like her brother. Just a background, the young boy was adopted from Bulgaria. What's good is when the parents did that, the little girl told them how she feels and defends her brother like his own biological sibling.

Her brother is suffering from Down Syndrome and that is why his biological mother sent him for adoption because she couldn't keep him. Rather than live a miserable life, Archie, his brother, is now happy with the new family who loves him so much.

The little girl, upon knowing the situation didn't budge and told their parents, she loves him already and that if they didn't like him, she'll be "all messed up." Mind you, she was about to cry that time!

Apparently, they bonded well together as they like doing the same things and they play together. They are fond of doing things together. Looks like she treats him as her real brother and she couldn't see any difference between herself and him.

How does it feel to meditate in boiling oil? Ask this Monk, this is really amazing!

Over the internet, a Thai monk was able to conquer the boiling oil through meditation. The fascinating feat became a trending topic in social media and all over the web, raising curiosity for many netizens.

If you still don't know, monks are known for practicing various meditation methods which only showcase their discipline and strength. Netizens think of it as magic, I call it a miracle.

Monks register all these types of miracles they perform in a record called Triptaka, which is the ancient Pali scriptures.

In the video below, the monk, who originally came from Nong Bua Lamphu in Thailand, sits in boiling oil. He was seen praying peacefully in a wok with boiling oil. If you are in the scene, you will see the burning fire underneath the wok continually burning.

Most of his followers and supporters give him amulets and fabrics for him to touch. They believe that they will be bestowed his powers. Some of these items are actually sold to other places of worship and communities.

As of the moment, the monk's video on top of a boiling wok has already acquired a million views from YouTube. A lot of people are skeptical how he could bare such heat, asking for possible explanation to the act.

Science researcher Jessada Denduangboripant of the Chulalongkorn University told that the story is not true; for him, there's no proof that the oil is indeed boiling as no one measured the oil temperature he's sitting in.

No bubbles can be seen around the wok. The oil surface is calm. It appears that the double layering material of the wok insulated the heat coming from the fire.
