When you love someone, you would certainly do anything for that someone just to make them happy, moreso when they have limited time left to live.
This is a story of a father and a son. But unlike any typical father and son story, the son in this story is dying.
A video uploaded on youtube has become viral ever since it was uploaded. In this video, a father surprises his dying son on his birthday.
The said video has been uploaded by "Mike Wilson 3Run."
Jayden Wilson, age 5, was diagnosed with Stage 4 "Glioblastoma Multiform" (otherwise known as GBM) brain stem tumor. His attending physician said that he had only a year, more or less, left to live.
At first, this news devastated his family, most especially his parents. But instead of moping and showing depression, his parents decided that they will make the last moments of Jayden's life worthwhile and make the most out of them.
During the celebration of Jayden's 5th birthday, his dad decided to don a spiderman costume so as to make Jayden happy--since he was a spiderman fan himself.
Lou Wilson, Jayden's mother, asked Jayden and his sister to proceed to the front door because she thought she had heard something from outside and she wanted to check it out. Then and there, his dad suddenly appeared after jumping off the roof. Jayden was surprised and overwhelmed.
His dad, who has been known then as "SpiderDAD" and Jayden hugged each other tightly before coming back inside their house. They continued to celebrate Jayden's 5th birthday.
The memories of such a touching moment were immortalized in a video which has since been uploaded, as well as in photographs which are presently posted on the walls of Jayden's room--along with the other posters of Spiderman.
